7 month update
It has been a few months since I posted a blog. Soccer Season kicked my butt! Coaching 2 teams was much harder than I had anticipated: well mainly much harder on Emily. We could not have made it through the fall without Mom staying here, huge blessing.
Soccer has been over few a few weeks, and it has been wonderful being home. Still watching some indoor games, recruiting, and we will have off season in January. I love coaching and I have an amazing wife who supports me, might not like it, but supports me non-the-less. Next year I will just be at SCC, and not club, so life will be tough, but nothing like this past fall.
Floyd is still rocking and rolling, keeping real busy, we are heading into our first winter, so typically we slow down, but we have not hit that wall yet. The guys say we are way busier than last year, so that is good. Love what I am doing right now. I really feel that everything is jelling together and life is firing on all four cylinders.
Emily is still running...A LOT. She did 3 1/2 marathons, which is 13.2 miles in 45 days, 6 months after having a baby. I am so proud of her, she keeps me motivate to stay in shape and keep on moving.
SO, onto the important stuff: Jackson. He is crawling! He took over over Thanksgiving Break and he is fully mobile now. It has been absolutely amazing watching him change the past few months. He is clapping his hands, crawling, doing simple math, well, not the math part. But slobbering a lot, so that is close. He had pink eye in both eyes and an ear infection and hardly fussed about it. He is a rock star. So that is gone now, and he has one tooth pushed through and another on it's way. I like to think that he recognizes when the Chiefs or 49ers are playing, but I doubt it, I will keep pretending. If you have not seen his 6 months pictures, here is the link: http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.995459963434.2401812.34304463&type=1&l=2d1de4d696
Thanks for all the love and support...
Keep on keeping on..
