Daddy's first 3 months
But around the 2 month mark, a light switched flipped and Jackson started changing so much every day. He smiles at me, knows my voice, giggles, looks around, lifts his head up, starting to roll over and, Sleeping through the night!
I love waking him up in the morning and seeing his smile, it is the best way to start the day.
Again, I love to thank about how blessed we are. 2 Grandma's and a Grandpa who are very involved with Jackson and love spending time with him. Jackson doesn't know it yet, but he soon will know how lucky he is. And it is nice for Mom and Dad to get out, spend some time together.
Emily goes back Monday full time, so he is with Kay during the day, she has been struggling with that, as Mom's will understand. Emily has been the Tyler's rock and will continue to be the next few months during soccer season. I am on the soccer field 6 days a week, and then games start. There are days that I don't get to see Jackson awake, which is tough on me, and a lot of to put on Emily. Grandma, who has been living here for the past 6 months, has been a HUGE blessing for us and Emily to help out. Emily is so amazing to let me pursue my dream of coaching at the college level, as tough as it may be on her. Coaching soccer has been the most fulfilling thing I have done and to continue to coach at a higher level is amazing.
Floyd is going great, we are in the back to school slow time, which has been nice to be able to come up for air and actually get stuff done. We had been going a million miles a minute for 3 months.
Alright, 3 months down only, 213 left to go!
Keep on keeping on!

Jackson's 3 months!
Josh has always wanted me to join in and write on the blog, I don't think he ever thought I would actually do it, but here it is: Jackson is 3 months old now! I can't believe it, time really does fly by. In the next couple of weeks, our lives will drastically change. After being off for 15 weeks, I go back to work. I used to think that I never wanted to be a stay at home mom; I thought I would get bored and have nothing to do. Jackson has completely changed all of that. I'm completely jealous of anyone who gets the opportunity to stay at home with their children! For the past 15 weeks I have enjoyed every minute of spending time with him and watching him grow and change. My house is the cleanest and most organized it has ever been! My laundry is always caught up and the dog is always walked. I'm sure once I get back to work and see those smiling faces that I will love it too!
Update on Jackson: He working on supporting his own head. He is such a laid back baby that every time we do tummy time he doesn't care and most of the time falls asleep. He is sleeping through the night! He goes to bed between 8-9 and sleeps till about 9 the next morning! Who can complain! My favorite part of the day is going in to get him in the morning, he always flashes me the biggest smile! He can put his legs down to scout, I'll have him on his changing mat on the floor, go throw the diaper away and he is on the hard wood floors. He loves eating his hands, not just a finger or two but the whole fist. Jackson just started to grab his toys, he tries so hard and we he finally grabs the toy, he smiles!
